Not very well known on the East Coast where I live but there seems to be a solid following on the West Coast, especially in their home base in the LA Area for very good reasons. This is music that is compelling and entertaining and doesn't dumb down for the listener, which is very gratifying for me as someone who is also a musician and songwriter. My faves on the album are Empty Nest and Quicksand but everything on the album is worth a listen. Thank you for giving a listening audience music to care about.
